Getting started
Shippable reads your open orders and your stock, and changes nothing until you tell it to. The first run should always be in Preview mode.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Stock counts should be real. A run is only as good as the availability Shopify reports at the locations you choose.
- Decide which orders are reviewed. Orders in the three demand statuses — unfulfilled, in progress, and on hold — are candidates, and one exclusion tag can keep the ones you do not want judged out of every run.
Run it once in Preview
Section titled “Run it once in Preview”- Open the app in your Shopify admin and go to Settings.
- Choose the locations the run may use, and which orders it reviews.
- Turn on Preview mode.
- Start a one-off run.
- Open the run log.
A preview run writes nothing to your orders. It records what it would do, so the log is evidence rather than a rehearsal.
Read the log before going Live
Section titled “Read the log before going Live”The log lists every reviewed order with its verdict, and names the orders behind a shortfall with the variant and the number of units short.
Switch to Live
Section titled “Switch to Live”Turn Preview mode off and run again, or save a schedule. A live run applies the actions you configured: tags added or removed, holds placed or released, or nothing at all.
